Surface-mount technology (SMT)
We are using high technology machinery on our surface mounting lines that form the majority of our manufacturing activities. Fully automated conveyor transfer DEK serigraphy machinery, JUKI K-2080L, TOPAZ XII type-setting machinery and BTU 8 region reflow furnace enables us to print more than 30.000 components per hour compliant with IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001D standards. Our manufacturing service covers all case sizes including QFB, BGA µBGA, CBDA, CSP, Flip-Chip and 01005.
Through-hole technology (THT)
Traditional Through Hole Technology (THT) is a hand-made process based on customer requirements, different from SMT assembly. In addition to wave soldering, our IPC trained staff applies hand-made soldering techniques. In traditional THT assembly; wired or open hole compoenents are placed into the holes of PCB. They are then soldered into the printed circuit boards by various soldering techniques.
WAVE SOLDERING
Wave soldering is mainly used for soldering through-hole components (THT). This method is faster and more affordable for processing multiple components. In this method, first soldering temperature, PCB dipping depth, transition angle from wave soldering machine, soldering duration, and wave solder type are identified by our expert team.
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality control process in Bit Elektronik starts when raw material enters to the warehouse and leaves the facility as an end product. Products are counted with component counting machines before being accepted to warehouse and compliance with manufacturing standards is controlled. For mounted products, AOI system automatically controls each card to measure the quality of cards or detect and fix an error and general look of each card is compared with predefined reference look. If there are any deviations, the operator is informed about the potential problem and this error is corrected. AOI visual control enables consistency and reliability during SMT mounting manufacturing. In addition to AOI, our auditing technicians are highly trained to detect even the slightest defects.
